Paolo Savoldelli barely managed to hang-on to his overall win of the 2005 Giro d'Italia in today's final GC stage.
Simoni made a heroic breakaway with Di Luca and Jos Rujano along the second-to-last climb of the day.

Gilberto was over 2:00 minutes down in 2nd place at the start of the stage, and at one point was the virtual maglia rosa - however he cramped and died on the ascent of Sestriere, ending his hopes of another Giro win. Had Simoni not seized up in the final kilometers, ole' Il' Falco would've been fucked.
Final Classification (baring any mishap in the run in to the sprinters finish tomorrow.)
- Paolo Savoldelli (I), Discovery Channel, 88:01:43
- Gilberto Simoni (I), Lampre-Caffita, at 0:28
- Jose' Rujano Guillen (Vz), Colombia-Selle Italia, at 0:45
- Danilo Di Luca (I), Liquigas-Bianchi, at 2:42
What an epic turd. George Lucas's 6th endeavor into his Star Wars universe may have been his worst production yet. However you can't expect much when the writer/directory of a film is just an aging rich nerd, who has only written and directed a handful of films.
Here is my review in a few short, unrelated sentences.
Previously released as MP3s, the collected works of 53x11 (Nick Schaffner) have been remixed, remastered and pressed to compact disc. So you may have the tracks, but without this record you are missing the real music.
Romping hoedowns and brooding violence composed on the computer using samples and synthesizers.
Or to summarize the disc in a few words, "Beats to ride a bike with."
This ten track album is only available for purchase at 53x11.com.
In an effort to combat the new Anti-Piracy Seal that has been infecting recent album releases, I have created an alternative logo for artists who aren't concerned with file sharing and federal level copyright infringement.
Free the music, Boycott the Recording Industry Association of America, etc-etc.

The Outdoor Life Network is no longer offering daily coverage of the Giro dItalia. Instead they have opted for two hours on Saturday and Sunday of worthless, ABC-style wrap-up.

But don't worry, you can get the real shit straight from the source, Italian Sports TV. I have no idea when the Giro is shown on this TV feed (as I type, football is on) - but trust me, it is there.
My prediction for the race:
Cunego, Garzelli, Salvodelli and Danielson need to break out the lube and butt-plugs cause they are in for a serious ass-fucking from Simoni.
The light of the moon guides you through cotton fields to the hand clapping. Around a fire they sit, reeking of the spirit. A stench so powerful you can drink the shine from the humid air. But who forgot the fiddle? Fuck it, may the hoedown begin.

Sometime in the near future, I will be releasing a CD with a high quality re-master and remix of most of the tracks on this website.
What do we get for ten dollars? Everyt'ing you want... Everything? Everyt'ing...

For your listening pleasure. Break-beats meet country western - and not in that god-awful Kid Rock way. Guess what...I got a fever. And the only prescription, is more cowbell!

The following article was posted a few weeks ago on Stolen Underground in regards to Tom Boonen's double win of the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix.
Before the 2002 Paris Roubaix Boonen and Clinger were in the Postal bus and as Boonen got up to leave he said to Clinger's face..."WE ARE TAKING OVER TODAY BITCH, FUCK YOU!"
There is more than one way to achieve the same result when programming in PHP. Therein lay many shortcuts I wish someone had explained to me when I began learning the language. (One would assume that is what those $49.99 books are for, but apparently there are only written to bewilder the reader into buying another book.)
I spent the last week consuming as much information about MySQL as I could for an upcoming project.
"MySQL is an attractive alternative to higher-cost, more complex database technology. Its award-winning speed, scalability and reliability make it the right choice for corporate IT departments, Web developers and packaged software vendors."
As an experiment in my knowledge of this new database, I integrated this website with a backbone of MySQL.
