The Longest Yard

A long time ago there was a young comedian named Adam Sandler with the desire to leave his television background and make funny movies. He accomplished this feat in 1995 with the release of "Billy Madison" and then repeated his success with "Happy Gilmore." Instead of quitting while ahead, he went on to make shittier films, each less funny then the last.

"The Longest Yard" is a remake of the 1975 comedic-drama starring Burt Reynolds as imprisoned former pro-quarterback who forms a football team to challenge the prison guards.

Sandler's version follows the same plot outline with two major flaws, it isn't funny and is vaguely dramatic. It also really sucks. The movie banks on star power of former SNL cast members and pro-wrestlers with no regard to the story or dialogue.

The only actor worth two-shits of screen time in the entire film is Tracy Morgan, unfortunately he is a given a role with no dialogue that could've been played be an extra.

Chris, Burt and Adam

Nick Says: Did anyone notice Burt Reynolds face in the movie? He looked like a fucking burn victim! I guess that is what a 70 year-old looks like when he has had one too many face lifts.

Cap'n Says: I don't think we should see "Cinderella Man", I hate Russell Crowe. Lets see "The Longest Yard" instead.

Nick Thinks: Never let the Cap'n choose a movie ever again.
