Liberty Seguros rider Roberto Heras, a four-time Vuelta a Espaa champion has tested positive to blood boosting via EPO. The counter-analysis of his returned positive A sample, taken on the penultimate stage of the Spanish Grand Tour on September 17, revealed the presence of the banned substance. Via Cyclingnews.
This no longer seems like shocking news. Every day it is a new rider under the needle. Either the current testing system is flawed or riders and managers are legally retarded for thinking they can get away with doping.
