Riding in a snow storm is far better than being on a trainer. It's even worth the loss of feeling in your fingers for a day.
When I pulled my shorts off, so much mud had somehow gotten into my chamois that it looked like I shit my pants. Then I laughed so hard I actually shit my pants.
